The universe is very bad at holding still. Light wanders off, clouds lose interest, people blink, buildings crumble, and perfectly good moments have a rude habit of becoming the past before anyone has had the decency to appreciate them properly. A camera is my stubborn attempt to say, “Not so fast.” Each frame is a little argument against disappearance.  A small rebellion against forgetting. A way of proving that, for one brief second, that everything was just right and I was there to notice.
\Photography is my way of telling time to behave itself. Not forever, of course, as time is notoriously bad at taking instruction, but just long enough to remember the shape of a moment.
